Another day of mourning in the European calendar

I extend my sincere condolences to the families of those killed today in Brussels.

This is not only a terrible tragedy for Belgium or Europe. This is the problem of the whole world. Today, we have to drop our ambition and pride and realize that the whole world have a common enemy - terrorism. And, unfortunately, this is no way to protect from it. Brussels - is for example. Daily act of terrorism - an unambiguous message of terrorists to the world: we are stronger than you, and we are always one step ahead, because you are afraid of death, but no mice! And all the security measures taken by the authorities are ineffective, unfortunately. After the operation to arrest Salah Abdeslama in the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek there have been taken higher and even extraordinary security measures. But they did not help. How to react? The civilized world must throw a lot of petty troubles in the name of a single enemy with whom it is impossible to negotiate. And in any case do not give in to provocations. We must live like always: continue to fly on airplanes, to go to restaurants and to the football, listen to our favorite concerts at the stadium and watch a movie on the wide screen. Because the alternative - a complete capitulation to the medieval fanatics who will put forward more and more new requirements and still will not stop. And we will not give up and do not have a moral right. We need to learn how to live in a world where terrorism is becoming our everyday reality. Not only in the hot spots, but also everywhere. Even in countries such as Belgium, where nothing bad could happen by definition. But that is no reason to panic or to stop the fight with the enemy, who had declared war on the entire world. The enemy is cunning, ruthless and unprincipled. But this war, he will still not win.
