Ayodhya Feb 23rd 2025 Ayodhya the birth place of Lord Ram is witnessing a massive crowd of pilgrims with tens of millions beaming in from Prayagraj after taking Holy Dip at Confluence of Ganges-Yamuna and Adhogamini Saraswati. The situation is like this that four lane Lucknow-Gorakhpur Expressway is overcrowded each day after 06:00 PM with thousands of Buses and Cars.
With last few days remaining in conclusion of Mahakumbh that is happening after 144 years the pilgrims are prefering to visit Ayodhya/Varanasi and other nearby religious sites after taking bath at Triveni. The author of ths story is in Ayodhya for last 20 days and each day all main roads and bylanes including Lucknow-Gorakhpur expressway and Ram Path are over crowded. The queue to visit Hanuman Garhi and Ram Mandir stretches up to 'Terhi Bazar' on one side and up to Saryu River on otherside. The sitiation at Hanuman Garhi and Ram Mandir is like this that if someone wants to chant 'Hanuman Bahuk' or 'Hanuman Chaleesa' on left walls of Hanuman Garhi S/He can not do so due to crowd as well as one can not glance at 'Balroop' of 'Lord Ram' for more than three seconds.
On other side the developmental work in Ayodhya is halted. Author visited Majha Area of Ayodhya and was quite astonished that just one unfinished road was constructed at the place where tens of thousands of beeghas of lands of farmers was accuired by Yogi Govt. The farmers are angry due to the fact that some of farmer's land is accuired by Yogi Govt while neighbors lands are not accuired in same area or same village. The construction work for 250 meter tall idol of Lord Ram in Majha Barhata area is also not started and same in case of scheduled six lane expressway on 84 kosi parikrama marg. The scheduled work to create water way and erect water sports facility on Saryu River between Barabanki and Shringi Rishi Ashram has also not begun.
The construction work of Ram Temple is also incomplete while Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman says that the temple construction work will be over by May end.
With 'Maha Shiv Ratri' approaching it's believed that Ayodhya will attract millions of more pilgrims one due to the fact that it's home to two famous Shiv Temples namely 'Nageshwar Nath and Ksheereshwar Nath and the other due to tens of millions will be coming from Prayagraj.
The security is briefed up and paramilitary forces like RAF/CRPF and State Police is stationed in each bylanes and roads.
On other hand many foreigners have applauded Mahakumbh.
