With 'Maghi Poornima' Snan tomorrow on 12th February, Prayagraj is witnessing 4-5 times more crowd of pilgrimage than 'Mauni Amavasya' and that is 20-25 times more than normal days of Prayagraj. The Mahanth Yogi Adityanath Government in Uttar Pradesh would have not thought in it's wierest dreams about such surge in crowd as a result of which there is huge traffic Jams in nearly one dozen adjacent district to Prayagraj such as Chandauli,Bhadohi,Jaunpur,Pratapgarh,Raibareli,Sultanpur,Mirzapur,Reeva,Katni,Ayodhya and Varanasi. The pilgrims who has succeeded to take holy bath on Confluence of Ganges,Yamuna and Adhogamini Sarswati are heading towards Ayodhya to visit Ram Mandir and to take holy dip in Saryu as well as to 'Kasi' or 'Varanasi'.

Ayodhya to have become a home to nearly one crore pilgrims for past 15 days and all roads to Ayodhya are also Jammed to the extent that General Secretary of Shri Ram Teertha had to issue an appeal to visit Ayodhya after 15-20 days but who listens and who cares when world's largest gathering is taking place at Prayagraj that's heads to Ayodhya after visiting ' Teerthon ka Teerth".

On other hand ' President of India's Draupadi Murmu took 'Holy Bath' at 'Triveni' and prays for nation's prosperity and peace at Mahakumbh. President Draupadi Murmu also worships Maa Ganga, seeking blessings for all.This massive gathering of faith is a living symbol of India's rich cultural heritage: President.

Following a holy dip in Triveni Sangam on Monday, President Draupadi Murmu shared her reflections on social media, praying for the nation’s prosperity, happiness, and peace.

Expressing her sentiments on X, she wrote, "I had the privilege of bathing at the sacred confluence of Maa Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati in the divine aura of Prayagraj Mahakumbh. This grand congregation of faith and devotion profoundly symbolises India's rich cultural heritage. Mahakumbh spreads the message of unity and spirituality to humanity. I pray to Maa Ganga to keep her blessings upon all, bringing happiness and peace into everyone’s lives."

The President also shared pictures of her Sangam bath, where she is seen offering prayers and performing rituals with deep devotion. Her family accompanied her in this sacred moment. After the holy dip, she performed the traditional 'Dugdhabhishek' at Sangam, followed by an Aarti.

On this occasion, Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented the President and her family with gifts showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s pride—products from the One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative.

Notably, the sacred confluence of Maa Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati is drawing countless devotees daily, transforming Mahakumbh into an ocean of faith.

The sacred confluence of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, and the invisible Maa Saraswati at Triveni Sangam continues to witness an overwhelming surge of devotees during the Mahakumbh. Saints, Kalpvasis, devotees, and householders, filled with deep faith and devotion, have taken the holy dip in massive numbers. As of Friday morning, the total count of pilgrims bathing in the holy waters has surpassed 40 crore.

By 10 AM on February 7, an additional 42.07 lakh devotees had taken a dip in the holy waters, further increasing the total number. With 19 days still remaining in the grand event, it is expected that the number of bathers may exceed 50 crore.

Even after the three Amrit Snan (Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya and Basant Panchami) in Prayagraj, the enthusiasm of devotees remains unwavering. Pilgrims from across India and different parts of the world continue to arrive in Prayagraj in large numbers each day, seeking spiritual merit through the sacred bath. After the last Amrit Snan festival of Basant Panchami, crores of devotees are still reaching Triveni Sangam.  By 10 AM on Friday, February 7, 42.07 lakh people had taken the holy dip, including 10 lakh Kalpvasis alongside saints and devotees from India and abroad.

An analysis of the total number of bathers reveals that Mauni Amavasya saw the highest turnout, with 8 crore devotees taking a holy dip. On Makar Sankranti, 3.5 crore devotees participated in the Amrit Snan. Additionally, on February 1 and January 30, more than 2 crore pilgrims took the sacred dip each day. Paush Purnima witnessed 1.7 crore bathers, while Basant Panchami recorded 2.57 crore devotees immersing themselves in the holy waters.

Several political leaders, celebrities, and spiritual figures have also taken part in the sacred ritual. Among them are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with his cabinet ministers. Other notable political figures include Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, Manipur CM N. Biren Singh, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, and Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Shripad Naik.

Opposition leaders and renowned personalities from various fields have also participated, including SP National President Akhilesh Yadav, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi, and  Former MP Dinesh Lal Yadav 'Nirahua. 

Bollywood actors and sports personalities such as Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Bhagyashree, Milind Soman, Olympic medalist Saina Nehwal, cricketer Suresh Raina, international wrestler Khali, and choreographer Remo D'Souza have also been part of the Mahakumbh. Additionally, famous poet Kumar Vishwas, actress-turned-Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara Mamta Kulkarni, and actress Isha Gupta have taken the holy dip.

Other dignitaries who participated in the sacred bath include Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murthy, Assam Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary, and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad.

On February 10, President Droupadi Murmu is also scheduled to visit Prayagraj to participate in the sacred ritual at Triveni Sangam.
